Stamp duty is a mandatory government tax collected at the time of property registration in Andhra Pradesh. The amount is calculated as a percentage of the property’s market value or the sale consideration — whichever is higher.

Select District, Mandal and Village
Select the district where the property is located, then the mandal, and finally the village. The portal will display the unit rates applicable for that specific location.
Select Property Type
Choose whether the property is residential land, agricultural land, apartment, or commercial. Each type has a different unit rate even within the same village.

How to Pay IGRS AP Stamp Duty Online
Log In and Go to e-Payment
Log in to your IGRS AP login account at registration.ap.gov.in and navigate to the e-Payment section from the dashboard. If you have not yet created an account, register for free here it takes under two minutes.
Select Stamp Duty Payment
Choose Stamp Duty Payment and enter the property value, document type, district, and party names. The portal calculates the exact amount due automatically.
Pay via Net Banking, Debit Card or UPI
Complete the payment using your preferred method. UPI and net banking are the most reliable options for large amounts. Avoid paying close to midnight to prevent transaction timeout issues.
Download Your e-Challan
After successful payment, download and print the e-challan. This receipt must be carried on your registration day. The sub-registrar will verify it before proceeding with the document registration.
Note: Stamp duty paid online is directly linked to your registration appointment. If you cancel the appointment, the payment amount remains valid and can be applied to a rescheduled slot it does not expire.
